French container shipping major CMA CGM has upgraded its SEAS1 and SEAS2 services, now providing two departures per week between Asia and the East Coast of South America.
Starting from January 20, 2017, the SEAS1 service will directly connect China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Brazil, Uruguay, and Argentina.
Twelve containerships ranging from 8,700 to 9,400 TEU will be deployed in the service, in partnership with COSCO, Evergreen Lines and Yang Ming, according to CMA CGM.
The SEAS1 service will have the following port rotation: Shanghai, Ningbo, Yantian (China), Hong Kong (Hong Kong), Singapore (Singapore), Itaguai, Santos, Paranagua, Navegantes (Brazil), Montevideo (Uruguay), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Rio Grande, Navegantes, Paranagua, Santos (Brazil), Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai.
Having commenced on January 12, 2017, the SEAS2 line directly connects South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina.
In partnership with Hamburg Süd, CMA CGM has deployed thirteen 8,700-10,500 TEU boxships in the service.
Port rotation of the SEAS2 service is: Busan (South Korea), Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Chiwan (China), Singapore (Singapore), Port Kelang (Malaysia), Itaguai, Santos, Paranagua, Itapoa (Brazil), Buenos Aires (Argentina), Montevideo (Uruguay), Rio Grande, Navegantes, Itapoa, Santos, Itaguai, Port Kelang, Singapore, Hong-Kong (Hong Kong), Busan.
